Given that many viewers are not too bothered about HD and PQ in general, it's surprising that there haven't been more complaints about satellite viewers having to pay almost twice as much for movies as those getting them via Now TV.

From what I can gather from reading articles about each studio deal, SKY have a deal for TV broadcast and a separate deal for streaming. The streaming deal is much cheaper than their TV broadcast deal. They are probably making a similar profit margin, percentage wise, from both streaming and TV.
Seeing SKY Movie customers can cancel by giving 30 days notice, I'm surprised more people aren't cancelling their subscription for NOW TV as a cheaper alternative. For £24.99 you can buy NOW TV with 3 months worth of SKY Movies bundled. You can also claim a further month free if you haven't already used the service. That's less than £6.30 per month for the first 4 months.
