If it is the gall bladder avoid fatty foods, my mum's had hers removed and get discomfort if the eats fatty food, but then you have to have fish & chips form a chippy every now and then.

What she does before though is have a Gaviston sachet which does help.

To top it off my sister might have a gallstone, which doesn't help the week you start a new job.
