Yup, it's a palm for our patio. Wanted one for years but the price put me off.
Took a friend to our local garden centre this morning to choose a plant for her birthday and found my
Trachycarpus Fortunie sitting unloved in the Knock Down area. Was originally on sale for over £80 but it had been in too windy a position all winter and looked a right mess. Offered them £15 for it and they accepted. YAY.
Brought it home and did some drastic pruning and, with a a bit more loving attention, I should have a happy Palm by next summer.
