d'oh, missus rang this morning to say they had to replace the box
That's very poor, Samsung V+ HD box 1 died, with me owning it for about a year, when engineer replaced that one, he said it was a known fault (had starneg display wouldn't switch off/on), loads had been replaced, seems like recall sould have been done, rather than refurb, roll out again.
Box 2 dies after me owning it 4 months
I guess the plan is for ppl to get fed up and upgrade to TIVO? I must admit it did cross my mind.
Oh well, at least there's on demand/iplayer/catch up and "other means" to get back recordings I've lost
