I'm surprised to hear that as we have not agreed terms for the channels. Virgin Media has actively engaged with Premier Sport over the past 12 months and advised them that we're able to make the channel available to our customers on a premium basis. This is the same way in which customers currently access the channel via Direct To Home services. Unfortunately Premier Sport has chosen to decline our proposal so we are unable to launch. If you have any feedback on this matter, I suggest you contact Premier Sport directly.

Long time reader of this thread & have to say this is really disappointing if true. With the Nascar Nationwide (2nd tier) series on Motors Tv (great news!) it just seems amazing that we won't get the top tier series for a third year running (Open Access was via sat only two years ago, then Premier Sports sat only last year & now it looks this year too). Add to that the lack of ESPN America HD, Sky Sports HD3 & HD4, F1HD & SSNHD (The latter four I blame entirely on the OFT's inability to spot & break Sky's vertical integration monopoly on) and I feel the need for one of the unhappy smilies!
