The Rumanians mainly used to do it, on seasonal worker visa's.
Anyone notice just how many minimum wage jobs you see these days. Five years ago you could easily earn six or seven pounds an hour in most factories, agency workers also earnt more, not anymore though, wages have been forced down and kept down, giving no incentive for the government to force the work shy into taking work when the are armies of Polish to do the 'jobs we don't want'. I also love the way the government points to tax credits as a way of making up your wages, how about making wages higher and doing away with all the complicated forms at the same time
