looking forward to this :)

re: Survivors : Series 2
Still got the rest of series one to watch yet on me box :) - this will no doubt sit there until it's finshed so I can watch the whole lot.

Looking forward to it. I hope they keep the main plot moving forwards though. We need to know a lot more about who the people with the labs and the helicopters are this series. And I'd like to see Dexter getting some of what he's been dishing out. He's far too smug for my liking. :D

Re: Survivors : Series 2
Anyone else underwhelmed? I thought they spent far to much time dealing with the collapsed building, although Abby's new situation looks interesting.

Re: Survivors : Series 2
Why start a series and then have it miss the next week ludicrous

Re: Survivors : Series 2
Pretty dreadful, until the last 10 minutes. That utterly contrived disaster in the hospital was a total waste of screen time. It didn't get us anywhere very much, even as a roundabout attempt at re-establishing the characters and their relationships.

Re: Survivors : Series 2
The special effects of the collapsing hospital were done pretty well I thought.
Although I agree the whole hospital scenario was unneccessary. I can only assume that the gangster type bloke will be a new re-occuring character, as it looks like they are committed to staying in the city and finding Abby so no doubt they'll run into each other again |
Re: Survivors : Series 2
I watched the first couple of series 1, and gave up. Sounds like I made the right choice atm.

Re: Survivors : Series 2
The only way that hospital collapsing could of worked is if he actually stayed dead.

Re: Survivors : Series 2
Now what was the point in those last 10 seconds?

Re: Survivors : Series 2
Padding ...
Dunno really, perhaps they're trying to make a point about different people making different choices about how to live their lives in the post-virus world. This series remains watchable for the most part IMO, but there really isn't enough material to justify a whole hour of telly. They would have had a far tighter, more exciting and atmospheric piece if they'd been forced to tell the same stories in 40-45 minutes. |
