Season 2023/2024

Two weeks till the start of the season and the hammers have built on last seasons success of staying in the league by signing no one, lost one of the worlds best players in his position and are close to signing no one, actually that's not true, someone from Man City youth team is pretty close apparently, long hard season ahead as anyone who does come in won't have had a preseason with their new teammates

The Premiership is still a big yawn for me. More entertainment and better value in the lower and non leagues.

Be interesting to see if the cost of living, makes people review if they can afford to give their money to multi millionaires every week, with owners/players who have no connection to the team or cities they represent.

Support your local team at whatever level they are at.

I do support my local team, I have fallen out of love with the game over recent years though and I can't see that trend reversing

I do, since the mid 1970's when they were in (the old) Div 2.

Since then Ive actually moved house a number of times, so technically, they are not my nearest team anymore, but I dont swap teams everytime I move ;)

Getting a tiny bit concerned now, still no signings and the club is short of coaches too, boarderline negligent to leave things this late, basically days before kick off

Unbelievably I still haven't been signed yet. True I last played 30 years ago, we lost 11-0 , and I tweaked that pesky hamstring injury. But I'm still available for the right price of course, via one's agent naturally :)

Re: Season 2023/2024

Watched TNT'S first Premier League offering on Saturday, and was delighted to see the logo at the top of the screen, but was quickly dismayed to see the score and time at the bottom of the screen! This is worse than it all being at the bottom of the screen. Anyone else agree or is it just me?

First apology of the season to Wolves. Ref and VARs dropped for next weekend.

Farcical.
