Looking for a TV Emulator for Windows7

Good Evening

Is there a tuner emulator or other way to emulate one so I could mess with stuff that requires a tuner to be installed like the guide without having to install a physical tuner?

Thanks for help ;):)

Re: Looking for a TV Emulator for Windows7

But there are no virtual tuner

I just want to test the TV Settings and dont want to buy a real tuner..

It should look for the windows mediacenter software if a tv card is inside my pc and if i have channels and some tv programs. All this should the software emulate a tv card and the sample channels

I know its a difficult question..

What I am looking for is a fake source for a dvb multiplex with 3
channels or better.

You've asked here and thegreenbutton. If you can't get an answer from two sites dedicated to TV and tuners then what your looking for either doesn't exist or is too complicated a setup for you.

DVB-T tuners aren't exactly expensive, they're about £30 if your that desperate for a TV signal.

Re: Looking for a TV Emulator for Windows7

What do you mean 'emulates a tuner'? How can something emulate something that REQUIRES a aerial or coax cable, where would you plug that?

Someone provided a program, you couldn't set it up. Your problem, can only be solved by you.

Re: Looking for a TV Emulator for Windows7

All you need is a Mpeg2 or Mpeg4 stream as that's all a tuner will output from a DVB-S/T/C signal.. Try VLC (or similar) for the stream and if you don't know how to do that then sorry but you're asking the wrong questions or have absolutely no understanding of what you're attempting to do
