Given the retransmission fee dispute, I wonder if VM would would take steps to make this available in the UK as an alternative to ITV?

As the first post says, it's an Irish broadcaster. VM acquired it two years ago so if you don't follow VM's acquisitions too closely or live in Ireland you may not have heard of it.
