Print email from BT online email

I'm checking out a problem with my friends fathers email which is on BT.

As far as I know he accesses his email online but when he prints an email it prints the HTML code not what you actually see, the printer works ok otherwise.
The problem evidently started when he changed fron AOL to BT therefore I suspect a setting is wrong in Internet Explorer(I don't have access to his comp to check this).
Confusingly, when I looked on the net it seemed BT and Yahoo email are as one but as I don't personally have a yahoo or BT email I can't check out how to print an email.

Can anyone proffer a solution or tell me the correct way to print an email from BT's inbox

Good old AOHELL.

Quote taken from here: http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-623...sageID=2430718

Quote:

no default browser had been set. After setting it back to IE, web pages printed just fine.
Once you're uninstalled all of AOL software (http://help.aol.co.uk/technical/how-...02092109990002), reset IE back to default browser and see if that works.

How to reset IE to default browser:
  • Open Control Panel and double-click Internet Options.
  • Click the Programs tab.
  • Click to select the Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser check box.
  • Click OK.
  • Start Internet Explorer and when you are prompted to make it the default browser, click Yes.

Hope this helps your friend father out.
