Frequent loss of service

Over the last few weeks, I and several colleagues have been having trouble with loss of service.
I work in Cambridge and commute about 50 miles - on a few occasions I have been unable to make calls (using a handsfree kit..) for pretty much the entire journey, so it's clearly not local to Cambridge.

Some of my colleagues on Virgin have had problems makign calls but have been able to receive them. I keep getting 'call failed' messages when I try to place a call and often can't send text messages.

Has anybody here had this problem? I would blame the phone (a motorola V3) if there weren't other people having the same problems.

Re: Frequent loss of service

During last week i had some problems with my Virgin mobile. For a period between 17.00 till 19.00 i was unable to make any calls or receive any. When tried to send text messages, they were delivered around midnight. So no, you are not the only one :dozey:

Over the last month or so I have had several periods where I could not send or receive. The indicators on the phone looked normal.
