What do you thing a reasonable cost for uninstalling a stair lift and installing it in a property 8 miles away?

it depends where you live lincolnshire/yorkshire cheap

So many variables, so impossible to say. But many stairlifts are on loan-contract, so the companies move them to maintain their income.

The person that it is coming from is the same number of stair steps and configuration.


I have had a quote from the mobility company that he purchased it from £350 + £85 for the power socket if needed., they recon half a day to install it plus they have got to uninstall it from the person that it is coming from plus a service when it has been fitted on my stairs.

£350 for half a day, not bad really.

That is what I thought, even allowing for the time to uninstall.

Straight or curved?
Straight track can be recycled / refurbished, but curved is usually a custom fit

Straight, same number of steps, stair dimensions the same.
