Hello

Need more advice from you lovely people please

My mate has ordered BT Home hub and it was supposed to be activated today. I logged into his track order on the BT site to see if it had been delayed

This is what is showing

This obviously shows he is going on BT Broadband max with the option 3 for the phone.

Now this is also in his tracking part

Now he has not ordered LLU nor has he been activated yet?

BT is closed well the department he needs so any advice and what is the LLU part?

Local Loop Unbundling, it's the bit of cable from the exchange to you.

He's waiting for his line to be sorted out at the exchange, doesn't take long if the exchange is already enabled and has space on it's equipment.

But BT told him ADSL would be on today

Its not.

I would guess no-one has been to his local exchange to make the necessary changes (or is that all done electronically these days?).

Nope still need a physical visit now and then to enable lol But yep I'm with you on the "engineer not available in your area today" ;)
