Netflix has it in the UK. The delay was over distribution in the US. It was picked up over there by AMC after TNT dropped it, with a view to screening it early in 2025. The decision to pull it forwards to this summer is very welcome and I suspect will have involved some pressure from Netflix.

In that case, I'll be getting Netflix again it seems. Glad it finally gets to see the light of day.

Its not entirely clear when Netflix will show it, the July release is AMC & AMC+

I’d be amazed if they don’t drop it within 24-48 hours of AMC doing so. That’s how they handled TNT’s weekly drops for seasons 1-3. Netflix is fully aware of the annoyance of spoilers online.

Tomb Raider has been ordered by Amazon.

LOTR The Rings of Power will start airing Season 2 on 29th Aug 2024.
Agatha All Along (The WandaVision spinoff) will start airing Season 1 on 18th Sep 2024.

The lead times on these projects is insane. In what world is waiting for the anticipation to dissipate a marketing strategy?

Wandavision dropped in 2021. LOTR:ROP dropped in 2022 but with the entire 5-season run already pre-announced.

Surely the writers strike can only be blamed up to a point.

I guess they want to make them last, the strike could have delayed things by 6 - 9 months, no more.
