Camera for vlogging

My son and his boyfriend are looking to start a youtube channel and want to start vlogging.

They are looking for a compact camera they can take out and about with them which has a good video and picture quality.

Can anyone recommend anything, my son said his budget is around £150.

Thanks.

I can honestly say i have never seen a vlogger with a go pro as their main camera, they usually use Cannon.

I know a couple who use Canon 650Ds. They are cheap for a DSLR, but not that cheap (at about £700) and they come with an awful mic, so you'd need to factor in the cost of a decent mic (or mics) and cables, which can be several hundred.

They want a small cam not a DSLR.

They have bought a Nikon Coolpix S9900 and are happy with it.
