F004888695 - The Missing is missing

According to the above fault number, some users cannot get back certain shows on demand. For me, this pertains to "The Missing" which I've now er... missed two weeks in a row.

Anyone else seeing this? I've only noticed these issues (including the goode olde "319") since I've been "upgraded" to a Tivo.

I think I'm just going to resort to recording shows from now on - VOD seems flaky.

Isn't the primary function of a recording box, such as TiVo, to record programs?
Particularly useful if you can't get round to watching them during the 7 or 30 day window that they are available (or have a flakey on demand function).

Well, yes, of course. However, clashes meant something needed dropping from planned recordings. I'd hoped the OD feature would fill the gap. No matter now anyway - I've used iPlayer instead. But that's a bit unsteady too.

I agree with you, if Virgin, or any other TV provider for that matter, says that they have VOD, then the bloody thing should work! Unfortunately it is utter pants, and it's about time Virgin got it's act together and fixed it!
