Recordings about to be deleted
 

Hi

I have two recordings, which I have noticed have a little hourglass symbol on them today. When I select the recording it says the show will be deleted within 24 hours. Why?

The one is a recording of Grimm from Watch last Tuesday (the channel, not on demand) and the series link is set to keep all episodes and keep until space needed. My box is only 7% full and only a couple of shows planned to record today.

Can someone explain why this show will be gone in 24 hours?

Erm, thanks for the vote of confidence. Care to put some clarification behind that statement? Have you experienced this yourself? Why does that message appear?

I quite agree- very misleading.

To satisfy yourself, amend the recording setting to keep until I delete under more options ( egg timer changes to a padlock)

The message should read 'may be deleted if TiVo needs space for future recordings' and in your case it doesn't.
