Spam by the 'tin full'

I first noticed last week that my spam folder was starting to fill on my ntlworld account.
Yesterday 50 spam e mails for products ranging from sun glasses to gentleman's requisites whilst today (from 07.00 to 11.00) 100 spam entries.
Have virgin/google done anything different with spam filter?

Just had a look in my default ntlworld.com (The one VM use to notify me of things) on the web site and there's been no SPAM for 30 days.

The other ntlworld.com account the last SPAM was on 21st Nov. Four total in the last month.

I`ve just had a look in mine. Its not often I look in the spam folder cause they get deleted automatically dont they and theres 10 this morning, 50 yesterday and 50 the day before. I`ll keep an eye on it and see if it increases.
