Does anyone remember those wire egg-slicers? I broke my mum's trying to play it :D Anyhow I bought one recently and I had to try it out.

Boiled egg halved with a dollop of mayo and dusting of paprika is good too.

Just about to go out for a birthday meal (me, my wife, and our best friends/kids godparents) - all four of our birthdays are in November, so we try somewhere different at this time of year.

Tonight, we are visiting a Michelin star restaurant for a 7 course tasting menu, accompanied by a 5 glass wine flight to complement the courses (they say) - I will report back later....

Assuming that you're capable of typing and/or focusing Hugh :D. Hope you had a great evening. Not your Birthday, obviously. Many happy returns to whomever they are
