Best Hard drive imaging software?
Hi all. :) Need to replace a Hard drive in my neighbours sons laptop, whats the best imaging software to use please? Acronis or maybe Ghost?
Going from a 160 gig drive to a new 160 gig drive, Vista Home Premium loaded. Ta! ;) |

Being a Linux fan, I use partimage off the SystemRescueCD - free of course :)
Are you going to backup to an external USB drive? |

Re: Best Hard drive imaging software?
Acronis for me. It'll be slow to image to usb, much better to cobble up a proper ATA/SATA hookup if possible.
That way you can use the clone facility and it won't take all night. |
