Number Portability from Voipfone to Virgin Media

Hi There,
I bought a new bundle from Virgin Media (TV, broadband and Phone) and I asked to keep my current phone number (020 3637 XXXX) but I have received an email with a new landline number from VM.
The number belongs to VOIPFONE.CO.UK and VM said they are unable to keep my current number.
Does someone have some experience about this?
Is it possible to bring a number from others Voip Companies?
