That I'll agree on, VM's past history shows they're clearly not interested in doing any more than the bare minimum they need to for anything.

it's a sha,e because this is the perfect opportunity to be proactive and save yourself time and money in the future. If they are going to get everyone up to 6 channels now (as an example), they had might as well do the work for the extra 2 and get everyone up to 8. It would help congestion no end atm plus it would mean less work for them next year or whenever they want to do the next lot of speed upgrades/introduce another tier. Common sense to me.

Same situation with the upstream uplift upgrades.

Ignition originally said VM would go way beyond what was necessary to properly bring their network up to scratch and future proof it, turns out before they even finished the upgrades they had to start yet another round on just the upstream alone.
