Film4 HD will launch on Virgin TV.
Sky Sports HD 1 and Sky Sports HD 2 will launch on Virgin TV
ITV1 HD Central will launch on Virgin Channel 113.
ITV1 HD Granada/Border will launch on Virgin Channel 113.
ITV1 HD Meridian/Anglia will launch on Virgin Channel 113.
ITV1 HD Wales/West will launch on Virgin Channel 113.
ITV1 HD Yorkshire/Tyne Tees will launch on Virgin Channel 113.

Virgin Media will complete the nationwide roll out of its "next generation" IP-based delivery platform (NGTV).
STV have told Virgin Media that they hope to launch STV HD on Virgin TV before the start of the World Cup.
Virgin Media hope to have E4 HD, Syfy HD, Discovery HD and Eurosport HD in all areas of Virgin Media by the end of this month.

-Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Virgin Media are looking to launch Hallmark HD when it launch later this year.
-Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Nat Geo Wild HD may launch on Virgin TV.
-Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Some new Discovery Channels will launch on Virgin TV.
-Diva TV will be rebranded as Diva Universal Virgin Channel 164.
-Eden +1 will relaunch on Virgin Channel 209.
-KidsCo may launch on Virgin Media.
-Virgin Media will cease all analogue television transmissions.
-Virgin Media will complete the nationwide switch to a "next generation", Nagravision conditional access system.
-Virgin Media will have 20-30 HD channels.
-Virgin Media will introduce TiVo co-branded set-top boxes.
-Yesterday +1 will relaunch on Virgin Channel 204.

-The BBC will close Digital Radio Channels BBC 6 Music and BBC Asian Network down.

-Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: An executive of Sony UK told me in 2009 that Sony are in talks with Virgin about carrying more Asian TV channels on their platform to build the View Asia package but it depends on space available on Virgin. ''ViewAsia pack'' is price at £17.99 per month.
-ITV will launch ITV1 +1 on Virgin Channel 114 soon (Only in England and Wales.)
-BBC ALBA (Deal has been signed).
-Virgin Media will introduce an enhanced TV interface.
-Channel 4's ''4oD'' will offer HD content.
-Virgin rumoured to be looking to add the HD Channels: MGM HD, Disney Cinemagic HD, Rush HD, History HD, Bio HD, CI HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Hallmark HD, Five HD, Luxe HD.

Note: If say History HD appear on Virgin TV that does not mean that all the missing SD Channels will not appear as well as Virgin Media are signing two deal with that broadcast - one for SD Channels and an other for HD Channels.

-Virgin Media Television are said to be looking to launch an HD Channels for Bravo and maybe even Virgin1.
-Irish Broadcaster UTV Media are looking to launch UTV HD in 2010.
-Five HD, Sky 1 HD, Sky Arts 1 HD, Sky Arts 2 HD and Sky Real lives HD rumoured to be coming soon.
-Geo TV and Virgin Media are expecting to start negotiations over Geo's channels joining Virgin TV.
-Five are also in the advanced stages of plans to roll out its Kids show Milkshake making it into an TV Channel.

Q: I HAVE GOT NEWS BUT I WORK FOR VIRGIN MEDIA AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO SEE MY USER NAME?
A: All you need to do is pm me right now and tell me what Virgin Media area you are from* and I will post your news on ''Coming soon to Virgin TV'' for you.

* = I also need to know you local cable network - was you in an Ex-Telewest, Ex-ntl or Ex-Cable & Wireless area before Virgin Media appeared.

Q: WHY AM I NOT GETTING ''CHANNEL Z'' FOR?
A: Some channels are only in some areas - Magic Radio is only in Ex-ntl and Ex-Cable & Wireless areas but Ex-Telewest area have got RTE Radio.

Q: WHY HAS VIRGIN MEDIA PULLED SOME LOCAL RADIO OFF EX-TELEWEST FOR?
A: BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio nan Gaidheal, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio London will replace them soon. This is part of the process of aligning the Channels so that everyone can have the same Channels lineup.

Q: HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY AREA IS GETTING UPDATED TOMORROW?
A: When your box is joining NGTV the day before the following will appear on you box telling you this on the Pay Per night menu

''Sorry, this service is not available tonight due to some improvements we're making to your TV services.''

Q: HOW DO I KNOW IF MY AREA HAS JOIN NGTV?
A: Ex-ntl will find BBC Radio 4 LW on Virgin Channel 911 and Ex-Telewest will find BBC Radio Wales on Channel 931.

When deals with broadcasters run out Virgin Media need to sign new one to keep that Channel on Virgin TV.
