And tweets about it thusly:

Before digging herself a deeper hole with the clarification, "“It was a house covered in British flags. I’ve never seen anything like it before. My point is that it’s a remarkable image of a house completely covered in flags. There’s three of them.”

And then tweeting the inevitable apology:

Ed Miliband has serious, serious problems.

You haven't seen the house in Oxford. The whole front garden is covered by flags (each ones on its own pole and each is different.

I did notice, I take it the flags belong to a Hammers fan and is voting for either the BNP, NF, UKIP! As for the MP she does not seem to get out about much.

O shame of it all an English person flying their own countries flag.

She knew what she was doing. People have unkind stereotypes of the people who aren't on the same political side as them and this was meant to invoke one of those stereotypes and associate it with UKIP. Ironically the 'working class van driver' should be a demographic Labour should be finding support from.

Also if she really referred to the St George's Flag as the 'British' flag then it's also a insight into why Scotland almost left the Union. Moron.

Those cheeky chappies at the Sun took White Van Dan to pose outside Emily Thornberry's £3 million Islington mansion this morning, complete with England flag:

According to Guido, he has now been spotted outside Ed Miliband's London des res.

I didn't know the Labour party contained their very own version of the Tory toffs they so despise and rely on to stir up the working classes...
