2 TVs from 1 v box

I have a V+ box connected to a TV by a scart. This is an oldish TV which would need a digi box if it were not on cable and this works fine. I have run a coax cable from the RF outlet on the V+ box to a new LCD TV in an other room but all it shows on screen is no signal. If I plug the same extended coax into another old analogue set the picture is perfect. Any ideas please

Have you tried rescanning on the LCD TV whilst the coax is plugged in?

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Is the new LCD set to analogue

Are you sure the new set receives analogue? A lot of new TV sets are DVB only now. If it is DVB only then you either need to use a video sender or chance using a long HDMI lead to connect it.

Many thanks to Spiderplant & jb66 for their help. Have gone to analogue and retuned on the new lcd set and Bingo, all working.

Until the analogue is switched off in your area ;)

No analogue from the box will continue. It's only analogue from the transmitters that is being switched off

Will the bypass still work? I thought that function on the STB's dropped as well when the switchoff happens?

HDMI all the way, couldnt even tell you what an analogue connection is! Its like people talking about CD's... its a dying breed. ;)

Bypasses won't work, but the RF output of the box still does.

There was never a bypass available for the V+ anyway.
