I think Gervais is one of those you either love or loathe , however I agree the show is very funny.

Could this mean More 4 HD and Film4 HD could arrive in the not so distant future on Satellite

The new capacity on ASTRA 1N will be used to transmit Channel 4's main high-definition (HD) service together with further HD services over the coming years.

Come on MM they are bound to say that as they have invested plenty of money in 3D but for the vast majority of TV viewers 3D does not interest them and is very much for a small minority.

But there does not seem to be that much content apart from the Sky stuff and a few one offs being done by the Factual channels.

Prices for 3DTV's are dropping to a level were more people are considering it. Sky now have an ok range of 3D content which will expand more as 3DTV owners increase. Golf , Cricket , Boxing and Football are excellent in 3D as are certain movies however I will say the SBS format broadcasters use comes nowhere near as good as Frame Sequential 3D used in Blu Ray.

According to this public appetite for 3D still has a long way to go.
