Reliant on ipv6 though, isnt it?

Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
Those customers who are getting the phone service through the Hub 3.0 still have an IPv4 broadband service.

Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
Still, it's required for the full roll out isn't it?

Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
Its not in trial, its a full product and is available in many areas throughout the UK in the expansion areas already. The product has been out of trial for almost a year now.

I can imagine that. In the microbore fibre areas, they're hardly going to wind copper around the fibre bundles.

Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
Just found this thread.
How can I find out if the VOIP on SH3 is available as a service in my area, is there an online checker? |
Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
That's not how it works. When you check for services Virgin will just say whether a phone service is available or not.
Virgin then decide how to deliver a phone line to you. In some areas it's via a separate phyiscal phone line and in some areas it's via the Hub 3.0. |
Re: HUB 3 Voip Service
I see.
I'm in one of the few ares where VM do not offer a phone line service, so currently I use Vonage VOIP using a separate box. |
