Humans

Saw the first episode of Humans on Channel 4 last Sunday and rather enjoyed it. Yes, the whole theme has been done to death before, but it was the most realistic portrayal of human looking robots living with people that I've ever seen. It helped that the series is British.

The William Hurt character and his robot storyline, I thought was particularly good.

Missed that but it does have a certain appeal so might look it out on catch up. I wasn't entirely surprised to hear that some folks thought the 'commercial' style trailers were real though... :nutter:

I watched it too.

So far so good, not great but watchable.

Enjoyed the 2nd ep. So this series is a definite pass for me.

Can't think of the last time I watched something on CH4, let alone a drama. Wish there could be more and all the junk like Come Dine With Me should be binned.

Yep I'm enjoying it so far :)

Again, liked the 3rd and I think its obvious where they're heading with this. It's not that robots will become more human, but vice versa...

Really good series - perhaps a warning for human kind.

quite like this 1...the acting I find pretty good as how they dont move their eyes when turning the head etc.

The actors playing the robots, had to attend a training 'school' to dehumaise' their movements etc...

I am loving it so far.

Surely they could have got round that by just casting actors from hollyoaks, towie or made in chelsea? ;)

Really enjoying it as well. Hopefully a second series won't appear too forced.
