Slight Pause and EPG displaying when recroding starts on channel
 

I don't know if this is specific to V6 boxes or is a general quirk. However, I have noticed that if I am watching a particular channel and a programme that I have set up to record starts recording on that same channel, the picture/sound pauses for the briefest of moments and the EPG displays. Then it's fine again.

Has anyone else experienced this? I can't say I ever noticed this on my old TiVo so not sure if it's a V6 issue. And I checked my planner to see what else was being recorded at the same time but that was the only programme so there wasn't an issue with tuner capacity "switching" over to one of the channels being recorded.

Not a big issue.... just curious.

It was there on TiVo too. It's at the point where TiVo stops buffering the channel and starts recording it.
