Browned some Hereford beef skirt that is now slow cooking in a tin of chopped tomatoes to make a Madras curry later. I want the meat to be really tender. :)

In other good news my Olive tree has decided to flower after years in a pot doing nothing. So possible olives on the way, it's a shame I don't like them really.....

Sitting out in our rear patio garden with some drinks and streaming live TV on the lappy by WiFi.

Not by the SH1 though.

Helping my youngest apply for summer jobs, I must say it has taken me back 10 years when I remember helping his older brother apply for summer jobs, Oh how time flies by.

I have written him up a cover letter and tomorrow I will be taking around the local garden centers to hand these letters in, hopefully with a bit of luck he should get a summer job out of it :)

I'm getting really excited and really looking forward to my son's graduation and with a bit of luck his fiancée will get a ticket when the ballot takes place after all she has supported our son just as much as us during his time at Uni.

We also plan to have a small family get together the week after in where this will be a joint celebration (Graduation/New Job party) in where we will raise a glass to absent loved ones.

I know my Mum and hubby's Dad would have been so proud of him.

Just had a call from my youngest son's school and they will allow him to attend a weeks camp with his RAF cadets, it was touch and go if the school would allow this but his Squadron kindly gave my son a letter for him to hand in his school today.

He will be delighted as he was very keen to go to this camp at RAF Fairbourne.

What has been a pretty awful week in terms of work is over (and the fact that I'm finishing on time (kind of) today)

Major project issues resulting in me having already worked 40 hours by the end of Wednesday - but we've got a direction and a solution, so things are hopefully looking better.
