TiVo delayed TV problem at xx:04
 

if I am watching a program delayed by say 15 minutes, the playback jumps at 4 minutes past the hour.

As an example if a program A runs from 7 to 8 o'clock and I pause it at 7:30 for 15 minutes and continue watching then it will finish at 8:15 as expected. Program B which follows wii then begin to play again delayed by 15 mins but at say 15 minutes past 8 it will jump to real time I.e. No delay. I can rewind B but only as far as 8:04.

A second example - the TiVo is set to channel 101 but the IiVo has been off for some hours. If I turn it on at say 10:30 I can rewind the program but only as far as 10:04.

Is this a known problem?

Yes, it's a known problem. Realistically I can't see it ever being fixed.
