Webmail and Ipod Touch

I realise from previous posts that this is a known issue and being worked on, but has anybody any idea when a solution can be expected? Gathering all email in one place via webmail is a great facility (as per Microsoft LiveMail) but the fault via ipod touch is a real pain!
