Oh my, they actually fixed my area!
 

Just to give others hope that Virgin actually fix areas with high peak time utilisation, my area has been fixed, FINALLY!

My 300mbit service dropped to around 20mbit every day between 6pm and 11pm. It would start a slow decline from around 15:00 and be back to peak speed around midnight.

I can now get roughly 250mbit downloads during "peak" hours.

During this time, my upload was always pretty consistent at 20mbit, even during peak. My area was just download limited.

The fix only took roughly 2 years!

The over utilisation in my area has been ongoing for over 2 years now so maybe our fault F003279863 will be sorted soon. Though there is probably more of a chance to see pigs flying over our effected area before VM decide to actually work on the problem rather than just reviewing it a few times a year.
