VOD service disruption

I recently complained about VOD problems - specifically BBC iPlayer picture breaking up and stuttering. I was offered £7 off my bill to compensate.
It turns out a fault has been logged with VOD in my area for the last 18 days!
Fault reference F001918196
It was listed as being resolved by friday 16/3, then 23/3, and now 27/3.
Is it normal for a service disruption to last this long?

That ticket is for an error 9001 when trying to use VOD, not picture breakup. I suggest you call again.

Ive just had a look at this ticket and as already stated by spiderplant it is for error 9001 which relates to missing / no replica assets specifically CH4 and Sky.

Depending on the type of fault sometimes tickets can be open for a few weeks.

Can you tell me the area you are in and which programmes you are having problems with.

Re: VOD service disruption

I'm in London SE18. When trying to watch "Dirk Gently" on BBC iPlayer, the picture becomes choppy or breaks up. The first time it happened about 3 minutes in. Several restarts didn't help. The following week I tried it again and the same thing happened, this time about 15 minutes into the programme. I will try it again tonight.
It is very frustrating when you have just started to 'get into' the programme.

Do you have TiVo or one of the other boxes, loopy?
