Unfair Dismissal at Bernard Matthews I think

I think a new brooms sweeps clean, and bang. Talk about lack of crae from an Employer. Instead of looking after staff. His wife was Ill and finally passed away. Had an Injury at work. He left a production line due to stress, They sack him. Instead of giving the guy time off work. They issue a warning letter. And then sack him. This has Constructive dismissal written all over it. What does members think:( |

I have been in a position like that.
Employers have a duty of care towards staff. IF, they knew he was going through personnel problems like he was. Then a lawyer would have a brilliant job. I am on the Guys side on this one |

I'd love to know what the disciplinary hearing that was held three days earlier was for, where he received a written warning. An overly emotional piece of journalism, with no real facts |
Re: Unfair Dismissal at Bernard Matthews I think
Bernard's been nasty to his staff. Boycott his Turkeys forthwith. End of.
