Phone line dead
 

My landline has gone dead,I have tried the status page to see if there is a problem but that appears to be down, tv and broadband ok.

Anybody know if there is a problem in the Whitley Bay area?

Just entered my phone number into the faults page and it says

"We don't recognise this phone number. Please re-enter your full Virgin Media home phone number."

I had the same problem, in Southsea, i found out my phone had been interfered with!
Call VM if i were you.

Phoned Virgin, engineer booked for Tuesday.
