The Strain

A plane lands at John F. Kennedy International Airport with the lights off and doors sealed. Epidemiologist Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and his team are sent to investigate. On board they find two hundred corpses and four survivors. The situation deteriorates when the bodies begin disappearing from morgues. Goodweather and a small group of helpers find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones, but the entire city, from an ancient threat to humanity.

I have read the books and they are pretty bloody good, I'm hoping that the tv series does it proud.

So far so good.

I thought Ep.1 was excellent.

I only watched episode 1. Horrendously predictable. I have the books but haven't read them yet.

It's a shame it's ending but hey ho, hopefully will be a blockbuster finale.

Re: The Strain

yeah I hope so and it had better be a happy ending as well and not global doom and gloom cliff hanger. There had better be a concerted effort on the part of NATO to kick some flipping ass and do a coordinated military response even if it means nuking New York for the sake of saving the world.
