No it doesn't ,i have conducted my own exhaustive survey over the last 40yrs ,i have been diligent in sampling all kinds of red meat on a regular basis and can quite categorically state that i am still alive and showing no symptoms of any death related illness :)

l think people just need to have a common sense approach in that everything is alright in moderation and red meat is no different in that respect.
