Broadband Plus Ambit 250
 

Does anybody when the problem with the Ambit 250 modems using broadband plus is likely to be resolved ? As im waiting to see how good the service is once its sorted.

what problem. I have a 250 modem and access Broadband plus fine.

there's a problem noted on the service status pages for the ntl250 modem and BB+

"ntl broadband internet customers with the ntl 250 modem will currently be unable to access the Broadband Plus service, this is due to a technical fault. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
"

would imagine if its not affecting everyone, its gonna be something to do with a specific range of mac address's ???

Still not working here on a 250, its only been 3 weeks though ;)

Must be a mac address problem as it works fine for me.

It worked fine for me when I had an STB, so I guess you are right, NTL don't seem to want to do anything about it though, calling just gets - 'its a known problem sir' it will be fixed soon, and here we are 3 weeks later and it still doesn't work and its still listed as a problem on the status page, still its the kind of 'snappy' service I've come to expect from NTL....

anything that doesnt affect people browsing bbc.co.uk wont be rushed :(

I have just had a brand new Ambit 250 installed due to problems with old modem, so its not just affecting the older versions of mac addresses. Pehaps its different regions or only affecting certain ubrs ? Anyway does anybody know when a fix is likely to happen ?
