Home network speeds using SH2

I have recently set up some shared folders in W7. My PC is wired to the SH2 and mobile devices connect to the shared folders wirelessly. Everything is working ok but speeds are not great at about 900kb/s. Is this the kind of transfer rates I should expect or is there something I need to do? The internet service from the SH2 is fine both wired and wirelessly when tested with speedtest, and far in excess of 900kb/s (the wired test came out 50mbit+). Thanks,
Jake.

Re: Home network speeds using SH2

You have quoted 900 kb/s i.e. 900 kiloBITS per second - did you mean 900 KB/s i.e. KiloBYTES per second? If the latter, then that's about right as it equates to 7.2 mbps or 0.9 MB/s which is about what I got on the S/H testing
