OK Peanut thanks for that. I have a photo editing prog on my PC, but I just wondered if I had the settings wrong on my camera.

Gigapixel cameras here in a few years?

Interesting article....... But do we actually really need a giga pixel camera to take a good photo?

Perhaps we don't need such a high figure but cropping an image taken with a gigapixel camera will have less degredation of image quality as a result.

My 12 megapixel DSLR is good enough for me but image quality does take a hit when cropping an image even though i do shoot in RAW so editing is less destructive.
