A-ha, I was wondering where the league had got to - I believe we are auto joined from last year. :)
@Mr Pharmacist - I think we had about 20 teams last year. |

re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Wouldn't mind having a pop this year but can't be fussed with creating a league from mobile.

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
l see someone has called their team Brexit FC.:D
|
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Congratulations to Pathetic Athletic, who just beat the above mentioned Brexit FC to win the Cable Forum League, and Who Ate All Depays? who won the CF Premiership.
|
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Any new CF League Code yet?
|
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
The one I run (CF Premiership) is 734327-176052.
Dont know about the one Void runs, he hasnt logged in for a month. |
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Will join when at the rig but naturally be waiting a few weeks yet to submit a team. Can't image the sacrificing needed to get Lukaku and Kane into the same lineup.

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Less than a week to go. :)

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Done, if you participated last year, it just re-adds you when you submit your team. That's assuming you continue to use the same account.

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
I've spent all my dosh on Strikers and Midfielders. Who needs defenders
|
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Defenders get you points for clean sheets, which are generally more common than strikers scoring (for some teams anyway), plus they can get points for scoring as well.

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
I am honestly pinning it all on the midfield and attack to cover the ludicrous defenders. Although most of them are starters at the back so you never know who might not be erm.. crap this season.

Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Second year playing for me, hopefully I won't make the same mistakes i did last year with tinkering far too much and taking hits left right and centre. I kept getting envious of points others were getting and doing knee jerk transfers most weeks :(
Really like the new Free Hit chip they added, it'll come in handy for the inevitable blank week when half the players you have don't have a match. |

It lets you change out as many players as you want for free for a single game week then when that week is complete your squad reverts back tot he players you had before using the chip. In the second half of the season there are always weeks when premier league matches get rescheduled as they clash with the later rounds of the EFL and FA cups. This chip helps negate the impact of that. There will probably end up a lot of people not realising how it works and think it's just a second wildcard, then be shocked when all their players get swapped back the following week :p: |
Re: Cable Forum - Premier League Fantasy Football
Oh, interesting, I hadnt noticed they changed those things. Thanks. :)
