Re: Virginmediastore launches
Hmmmm no thank you, absolutely ridiculous prices, 24 quid for season 1 of Billions when you could sub to Now TV for 8 quid for a month or even just use the 14 day free trial and binge watch season 1 and 2 for a quarter the price or nothing at all.
£120 for the first 6 seasons of Game of Thrones and just the ability to add the latest season to a wishlist! If anyone uses this service the old adage of "a fool and their money are easily parted" springs to mind! EDIT: I take it back you can buy season 7 of GoT there but I underestimated the cost, I assumed all seasons were available at £19:99 but clicking through the links it seems at least half of them are £23:99 so you're looking at over 160 quid to watch GoT from the start on the VM Store! |

I get the keeping streaming prices high when it comes to purchasing so as not to affect profits on discs but streaming costing more is crazy to me. |
Re: Virginmediastore launches
An absolute rip off!

Sky Store will soon offer more ways to buy , I believe Options will be Digital Only , Digital + DVD , Digital + Blu Ray.
Oh and I agree it's overpriced. |

I'm not sure if that's right. Sure, there are other services offering the latest movies in digital-only format for less money but they are less established. Plus Sky Store is more convenient for Sky customers than messing about with another device to watch a movie. |
