My favourite has to be Hawaai Five O as it is action packed but it also has excellent storylines to it.

Voted.
However, the vote is somewhat limited - there are a lot more shows on Sky One that I like, Futurama being one. |

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
You should have included "Other" and "None" and then I could have voted.
Seriously I cannot remember the last time I tuned to that Channel. |
Re: Favourite Sky One Show
I love an Idiot Abroad and can't wait for the second series to start this Friday.
Whilst I enjoy The Simpsons and Futurama I never watch them on SKY. I got into a habit a few years ago, when SKY 1 was removed, of downloading The Simpsons, Futurama and then Family Guy and American Dad from an unauthorised source. I know it's wrong but I just can't wait until the new episodes are screened here in the UK. It's crazy. I'm paying for Premium TV but don't actually watch my favourite shows when they receive their UK premier. It's the same for True Blood and The Walking Dead. In fact the delay between True Blood being screened in America on HBO and then here in the UK is ridiculous. |
Re: Favourite Sky One Show
The ony show I watch on Sky 1 was/is "An Idiot Abroad/2".
I d/l shows that air across the pond first |
Re: Favourite Sky One Show

I don't like The Simpsons at all and regard Ricky Gervaise as beyond awful.

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
The Simpsons and Futurama are probably the only thing I watch on Sky One on a regular basis but that being said both are 9/10 useless on Sky One HD due to them mostly being repeated past episodes with the exception of a few newer HD ones.
Not into the whole American series of shows they have on Sky One like House etc. Do watch the odd repeat of Road Wars but thats on more often on Pick TV nowadays :) |

I guess it's like caulieflower cheese or maceroni cheese, just the smell of it makes me heave. I don't know why, it just does. It's the same with The Simpsons, Futurama and many other TV shows too numerous to mention. I just don't like them. |

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
Well if Fox get their own way The Simpsons will be removed from Sky 1, and moved to their own channel.

I know I'm a sado, but I for some reason love Glee.

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
I think you may have meant "saddo" - "sado" means something completely different....;)

Re: Favourite Sky One Show

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
Must disagree entirely regarding the comments about the simpsons. I think it`s just as funny and original now as it ever was, funnier in fact. Each to their own of course. I do agree about Ricky Gervaise being very unfunny. I never got the humour in the office at all.

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
I'm really looking forward to watching Touch when it starts, the adverts definitely do their job of selling the show to me. Just waiting for my never miss email to arrive any day now. :)
|
Re: Favourite Sky One Show
Can't you set up a recording when the advert comes on?..it is 20 March..8 pm (oops, hope I didn't spoil the surprise :D)

No, I'm fairly sure that adverts only give you the option to set a reminder using the green button. I do agree though that setting a show to record straight from the advert would be very neat. :) |

Re: Favourite Sky One Show
The current Simpsons are variable - some of them are excellent, some are just pants.
I also agree about Ricky Gervaise, I found the office just stupid and boring, and gave it up after a couple of eps. |
Re: Favourite Sky One Show
I can't believe the amount of people in this thread who don't find Ricky Gervais funny. Judging by the amount of awards he's won, I thought I was the only one!
Great to be amongst like minded folks! :p: |
Re: Favourite Sky One Show
There are a lot of shows that get awards that i don't like :D
