But where does the brmb bit come into it then? That stands for Bromborough.
Sorry for all the questions I'm just interested in how it all works. There is a small VM building on the industrial estate in Bromborough.

I doubt it, Pete. There's only Langley & Knowsley now and brmb isn't Bromley. LOL.

It still gets listed even though it is a rescue centre now for the network or something along those lines as is Knowsley, everything is supposed to hang just off Langley now.:erm:

brmb is Bromborough.

That's your CMTS (UBR) The location of Virgin Media hub sites is security sensitive as they contain expensive equipment. Believe me VM have dealt with security incidents around CMTS cards.

Its odd though as some of the new apartments in the city are listed as having cable TV.

Yes there are pockets of TV & BBI closer to the waterfront.

Business ADSL when it was Telewest, not sure now it's VM Business?

They provide ADSL down there own lines? Or does the business have to use BT leased lines for that part?

I know Telewest Business used to use ADSL on their own business lines.

All the local councils in North London used Telewest Business and that has recently been extended to the primary care trust. All the telephone numbers have changed to 0203 numbers because of it.

So Virgin Media Business must be doing something right to get those sort of contracts.
