Just another example of Sky's greed is good motto.

It is an excellent app...but if I wasn't a Sky subscriber, I'd uninstall it when the charge came in. Not worth five quid each month just for a news app.

Is there any difference between this and the free android app then? :/

The Android app is the same as the iPhone one.

The iPad one is better than both.

Yes, that's why Sky haven't increased the price of the TV service since August 2010 and won't increase the price until August 2012. They also changed there TV packages but if that meant you current package would be increased in price they gave you more for free.

Unlike Virginmedia who have only had 3 price increases in 2011 and if they change a package so you should pay less they leave you on the "old customer" price EG- Some customers with VM right now pay £45 for 50Mb broadband. But they can have the new lower price if they sign a new 18 month contract.

This would never happened with greed is good sky, they would automatically give you the reduced price. You would not need to ring in and definitely wouldn't need to sign a new contract.

Loved the way you finessed Sky's price increases to only focus on the TV services, but not things such as the Sky Talk increase in 2011, but included all the VM services price increases......

btw, wasn't there a Sky TV price increase in January 2011, due to VAT rising (you appear to have included the VM VAT rise, but not the Sky one.....).

Do you actually work for the Sky Marketing department, or are you just hoping this voluntary work on their behalf might increase your chances of a job with them?
