Dominique Strauss-Kahn (Updated)

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is set to be released from house arrest today and have his cash bail and bond returned to him, what do you think about this as my thoughts are that the credibility of the accuser is increasingly coming into by law enforcement officials.

All people who are accused of this sort of crime should not get bail or be released without bail? Until they are cleared of the crime that they have been accused of. This is just IMHO?

Yes I understand this. But if the accusation is true and they get released it could happen again? It has been stated before that it has, Also been stated the other way as well.

So we need a happy medium? Lock both of them up?

But you cannot lock the accused and the accuser up at the same time.

Why not as the one lying would soon crack under the pressure?

Well it depends on the individuals state of mind and whether he has got a decent lawyer.

Where in my posts have I stated "He"? It could be from any end of the spectrum that I have stated? My thoughts on law are different from the normal person and they will always be?

Because one of the pillars of Western justice is the small matter of 'innocent until proven guilty'.

People are normally only locked up on remand while awaiting trial if the charge is serious and/or there's a risk they'll jump bail.

And a trial for a serious charge like rape can't even go ahead unless, on the face of it, there is a case to be answered. If the key witness (i.e. the victim) is unreliable, then there is no case to be answered and you can't keep someone locked up, insisting that they clear themselves. They are already clear by default.

Then if this is the case I have one solution.

ERADICATE THE HUMAN RACE AND STOP IT ALL!!!!!!!!!
