caller display on vip?
 
sorry if this is on wrong forum but since it involves the phone side of things..

whats the chance of caller display being free on the new vip package in jan??
me personally rang mobiles with my landline but never internationally so im on the vip pack thats pretty useless for me..does anyone actually use their landline whos on vip for ringing abroad??

No it is still chargeable as in this link HERE

i know its chargeable now but im hoping it becomes free soon like bt who dont charge for theirs :)

This may change though... VM are currently looking in to offering Caller Display as a free add on for all.

Thats interesting DF, Can you keep us posted? As caller display is free with BT as I have previously remarked in my other posts.

Very interesting i ordered it today and was told it would be £2 i iffd and ard then the lady said she could give me a credit for £24,how long does the caller id take to appear? ordered at 2.30pm today but not on yet.

Max 4 hours usually. Switch amendments are generated every 4 hours.

I reckon they will stop charging for it once it's available for everyone cause they need to generate revenue to pay for the upgrades to enable it in all the exchanges somehow

Should i give it 24 hours or so?i was told monday that our area ref 20 is enabled.

Area references cover huge areas, as I am also Area 20

Cool i have asked here and over at the virgin media forums formally the customer zone and they confirmed we can get it.Its just waiting for them to start it.
