This evening my download speeds in Lincoln have apparently been fixed, however, it may change tomorrow. Since August I have had engineer visits and super hub changes to no avail with speeds rising from 9 Mbs to 42 Mbs on a supposed 200Mbs contract. This evening I was suffering an internet outage and re booted the SH3 and voila I am now getting as of this moment 384.33 Mbs download and 21.09 upload. I did renegotiate my expired contract last week and was given a 300Mbs upgrade, but only this evening has the speed arrived, whether it's the same tomorrow could be another story. Hopefully the saga is over.

sounds like they fixed a long standing network fault which has taken them a while to diagnose.

I hope so, speeds still ok currently 336 Mbs as I write this.

I got up today to find our internet running on the backup Sky connection.

Looks like the Virgin connection died sometime during the night (or morning) and didnt come back.

A full reboot of the Hub seemed to cure it.
